The journey of World Wide Seller began in Istanbul in 2010 with the company Markanı Yönet (hereinafter referred to as "Manage Your Brand"). Its founder, Ayşegül Kartal, noticed that while textile production in Turkey was successful, there were no brands with their own names and values involved in luxury retail. Manage Your Brand set out to inform manufacturers about brand management through trainings and a Brand School, and also took over sales operations to mobilize manufacturers and designers. As a result, brands in Turkey began to enter luxury retail under their own names for the first time, with a professional team carrying out sales operations. Manage Your Brand has grown in Turkey through partnerships with Beymen, Vakkorama, Brandroom, Galeries La Fayette, Harvey Nichols, Gizia Gate, and Duty Free, and has decided to expand the brands it represents abroad.
Manage Your Brand has adopted a growth strategy that involves partnerships with store chains and global marketplaces. This strategy has enabled the company to build a large network that includes leading buyers in the industry, such as Hudson's Bay, Zalando, Wolf&Badger, and Walmart, in the ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry, food, cosmetics, and FMCG sectors.
To take the next step in its growth, Manage Your Brand established World Wide Seller in the United States. This online showroom platform brings together designers, manufacturers, and buyers in Turkey, solving a significant problem in the country. While traditional sales systems continue to be used, store showrooms will also be made available in key markets around the world to help globalize Turkish brands. Through the online showroom, buyers in major global sales channels can easily connect with these brands, while the brands can also showcase their products in the store showrooms.
World Wide Seller will provide support to manufacturers and traders in a range of areas, including establishing a presence in targeted markets and meeting warehouse needs. Manage Your Brand was founded to meet the sales needs of brands, and it continues to grow and evolve with the addition of World Wide Seller, which will play an active role in both B2B and B2C.
Ayşegül Kartal and her team have grown to include new professionals such as global lawyers, a finance manager, a sales manager, and a customer relations officer. In addition to brand sales, Manage Your Brand has expanded its services to include brand creation, social media content production, PR, visual support, brand consultancy, collection design, and production studies through its partnership with BCA Global. The company continues to provide professional consultancy in these areas to meet the needs of brands.
